Ice scream… oops, ice cream!

I have laid low or totally avoided sugar for the past months and happy with the results as I have lost a lot of inches on my waistline.  Haha!  But, I cannot pass up on the chance to try this restaurant (is it one?).  So, on a holiday Monday, off we went to Bonifacio Global City.

Mr. Choi Kitchen

*Originally posted in Multiply on 12 February 2006*

If you happen to drop by Waltermart in Makati City, try Mr. Choi Kitchen (I still think they missed out on the ‘s for CHOI).  It’s a good substitute for North Park.

We had a spicy dish of Mapo Tofu, bird flu-free roasted duck, a not-so-greasy Yang Chow fried rice, steamed fish fillet with garlic sauce (the shrimp version is also sumptious), fried squid with salt and pepper and sauted veggies (the broccoli came out a bit raw, though).  We topped it with brewed coffee at neighboring Le Couer de France.

Ah, the fun of eating… 😀
